Lilly Gorman is a nonbinary photogrpahy based in Brooklyn and Dallas. Their work reflects themes of longing, selfhood, love, and nothingness, and gender. Blending conceptual and documentary practices, their work approaches the idea of bias and who writes truth.
Their six year background in photojournalism has guided the path to large bodies of work with the intention to humanize and be humanized by their audience.
Gorman has been on staff and in editor positions on both The New School Free Press and Coppell Student Media’s The Sidekick. Currently, they are at Parsons School of Design and Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts to graduate in May 2026 with both a BA in Journalism and a BFA in Photography.
